FOUNDER

RODRIGO GUTIERREZ

Corialent

12 years ago, Rodrigo decided that the Coca Colas of the world shouldn’t be the only ones who get to have all the fun in the advertising industry. He was sick of all the dull, corporate, navy blue and white B2B work out there. Business people are people too. Corialent specializes in B2B marketing that doesn’t suck. And they want to get the rest of the industry drinking that delicious KoolAid.

Receptionist Training

Receptionist Training is one of the few positions in the Reception and Kitchen Areas that can be done entirely by a woman. If the Receptionist is male, the responsibilities are considerably different. A male Receptionist will typically call the client and give them their menus, place orders and clean up. The majority of Receptionist Jobs are "one-stop-shop" type jobs that handle everything for the client. However, there is some Receptionist Courses that focus on specific skills needed in certain clienteles.

Receptionist Training can be helpful to Receptionist career seekers. These trainees learn Receptionist Skills, such as Etiquette, Kitchen Management, Reservation System Operation and more. Receptionist Training is also beneficial to current Receptionists who may be thinking about switching careers. Receptionist Training is perfect for anyone who needs a break from calling clients, doing bookkeeping or waiting on tables.

Receptionist courses also teach Receptionist personnel skills such as how to deal with difficult clients. Some of the techniques may seem a little strange, but will make the life of the client a lot easier. The course instructor may have Receptionist clients that need a head start on a presentation or have a large group of clients waiting. Whatever the case Receptionist Training is a perfect way for a Receptionist to hone their skills and learn new techniques.

Receptionist Courses can be found online. Online courses are usually shorter than ones in a classroom, but are still very comprehensive. Many Receptionist Training courses will also cover a variety of topics that will be beneficial to Receptionist career seekers. Other topics might include Reception Policy, Order Taking and Kitchen Management. Once you complete an online Receptionist Training course, you will be better prepared to impress your client's wedding guests. You will also be well prepared to handle any Receptionist jobs that may come up in the future.

Receptionist Jobs can be very fun as well. Some of the duties you may find yourself performing would include greeting clients, handing them their drinks and cleaning up after them. You will also be able to help your clients with their table settings if needed and you can take messages for them, if necessary.

In most Receptionist Jobs, you will be under the supervision of the Receptionist. As the receptionist you will get to see your client's different guests before, during and after the event. You will also be responsible for doing such things as booking reservations, greeting and relieving the upset guest and arranging times with other staff members such as photographers and bridesmaids. You may also be asked to go shopping for gifts for your clients and keeping track of the gifts given to your client's attendants. Your duties will be defined by the Receptionist Service Company you are hired by.

Receptionist Training may be necessary in some businesses when a specific skill is needed or desired. For example, many Receptionist Jobs is performed by Hostesses who will go to a woman's home and serve her coffee while she is there. Other Receptionist Jobs may be performed by Personal assistants who take the calls and answer the clients phone during business hours. Or Receptionists are needed to run the back-stage of events such as weddings where the bride and groom's personal assistants will do all the behind the scenes work for the wedding.

The Receptionist Job can be very fulfilling and rewarding. And with the Receptionist Training that may be required, you too can become a Receptionist. However, it is important to note that becoming a Receptionist may require additional training and experience than is provided by most Receptionist Jobs. And you will need to make sure that you have a diploma or an Associate's degree in high school or college to qualify for these types of Receptionist Jobs.
